We got our female cat when she was about 1 year old. She had been spayed already, her hair was just growing back when we got her. I just noticed she has a knot, feels like a bubble, on her lower belly. My husband thinks it's from being spayed.. anyone got any info on this?

It's just scar tissue from being spayed. My cat had the same thing and the vet told me not to worry about it.

It might be suture reaction, it may be several other things. I have 8 years of training and 5 of experienceand the only thing I can say for certain is that NOBODY CAN DIAGNOSE A PROBLEM WITHOUT AN EXAM.

It could be, but it could be many other things also. I think I'd have let the vet take a look at it just to be sure

Take her to the Vet and have him check it out. Could be an infection! But for sure - take her to a vet soon!

my cat had one...it eventually went away. when she had her litter, one of the kittens had one too. the person that took the kitten took her to the vet and they said it was from the umbilical cord. i'd watch and see if it goes away on it's own or if she seems to hurt from it. if it doesn't or it changes in anyway, get her to the vet!
