If someone is embarrassed because they cannot give then go right ahead.
If it's just to save money, the Lord has a challenge for you.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this," Says the Lord of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.
Malachi 3:10
Try Me now in this. Sounds like a double dog dare.

No, I've never done that, BUT i have passed it on to the next person because I was broke. I don't care what you put or don't put in the plate, just as long as you are present in church. I know our church could care less, they just want you in the pews to listen. After you learn the word of God and Jesus Christ, you'll want to put in the plate and NOTsave it for Jack Daniels. I used to save mine for Molsen Ice (which was damn good beer), but now I give it to the Lord.......I still have one once in awhile but not NEAR as many.......They still taste good though........

You're saving money but wasting time. With that kind of thinking you'd be much better staying out of church. It will give you more time on the bar stool.
