Im thinking of getting one, but im afraid i wont like it, and then i'll have to wait for all the layers to grow back out.

I love my long shag because even if I don't use the blowdryer, it looks great. It's still versitile enough to pull back into a bun, ponytail, pigtails, or a half-ponytail. I recently had long bangs cut in, and now I look 10 years younger!

If you do try the long shag, just have the shortest layers cut so they're still fairly long. After you see it, you'll have a better idea of whether it's for you, then you can get it cut shorter. If the layers are still fairly long, it won't take that long for the layers to grow out. Good luck!

you should get a side bang and face frame with layers it is similar to the long shag haircut but a step up from it

If you think other people look good with it and they have a similar face frame as you, and you really like the look, then go for it!

i hate all my layers...i liked my hair a lot better when i just had long layers...it also depends on your hair type though (mine is wavy)
