in his dresser drawer. (I wasn't snooping, I was helping him clean and found them when he was with me). Along with inscribed gifts she gave him and a framed picture with "I Love You" printed on it. They broke up 3 years ago, but dated for 5 years. Should I be concerned or just let it go? I understand keeping pictures from the past, but not in a dresser drawer.

Whoa, he needs to let go of her and get on with life. Me, I dump off old stuff as soon as a fair time has passed, or someone else comes along, whichever comes first. If a year has passed, then it is time to put the stuff in the landfill. It isn't like he has kids who may need it for their memories. As far as keeping it in a drawer, I wouldn't consider that too unusual. But keeping it for three years, that's a bit long.

Not in a drawer? Where do you want him to keep them? On the fireplace mantle?

If you want to be a cool gf, let it go. He's with you now, and just holding on to gifts. He'll throw them away on his OWN when he is ready to.

If you want to be a normal gf, ask him if he would mind putting those things in a box so you don't accidentally stumble across them again.

If you want to be a crappy gf that will cause him to resent you...tell him to throw them away or try to make him feel guilty over it.

Yeah, you need to burn those. Light em on fire when he's not around and then tell him someone stole them. It will help him get on with his life.. I really don't believe you need to keep pictures of your ex's. It a warning sign of an inability to move on. He just needs a nudge in the right direction. Help him out.

. he has those because he doesn't want the memory of the good times that he and his ex had to go away. something went wrong in their relationship so they broke up. they most likely won't get back together so he should be able to keep them.

Exes are usually trouble....but that being said, if they were buried way out of sight I wouldn't worry. But in this case, I'd worry - and maybe some blunt questions about it might help.

Oooooooooh I HATE that s##H!KJJ)!(* !!!!. My husband has pictures of his ex (ex-wife, ex-casuals, ex-girlfriend, yada yada yada) and he feels that that was a "time in his life" he should honor. Bullsnap. Don't worry about it. It is just a stupid thing some people do. Real stupid.

I don't think it means much. That they are put away and not on the mantle which is a good sign. They are his so he should keep them.

I wouldn't trip about it. Make him put away in a box and in the closet or garage.

Where do you think he's hiding the video tapes? Sounds fishy.
