Maybe he just doesn't like them that way! Just because he's disabled doesn't mean he is any different to a normal guy...you know all it would take would be one accident for you to be disabled! He's no different from us! He can choose who he goes out with...and he doesn't hav 2 consider himself lucky if an able bodied person shows interest...He's still a normal person.

Is it that the woman is able-bodied or just that they aren't interested in that particular woman? Just because a man is in a wheelchair doesn't mean he has to take any woman that comes along!

there could be many reasons. Some disabled people feel that they would be better in a relationship with someone else who is in a similar situation, or maybe they are worried that the woman is only interested so that they can see what it's like to sleep with a disabled man.
I'm sure that there would be other possibilities, but I guess you'd have to find someone in that situation to find out why.

It could be because they are disabled they do not believe that a "normal" person would be interested. It could be because too many times women just want to know what it would be like to "be" with a disabled person. There are alot of reasons and most are hard to overcome. Being a friend first would probably help.

Insecurity - pushing people away keeps you from taking the chance of getting hurt down the road.

Very strange. I think it's because they're upset about being disabled.
