Aren't you just the most adorable little monkey men.... goochy, goochy goo.

I can see the resemblence quite easily.

It's ok that you look like monkeys and smell like them too.

It's ok that you aren't all that unique or superior to the other creatures on this planet.

Just because your ancestor and an ape had a common ancestor doesn't mean you aren't a special lil guy. You're just as valuable as a common rat or cockroach.

Don't worry, some day your cute little violent species will evolve past throwing rocks at the noises in the dark. Be happy, clap your hands! YAAY!

Speak for yourself!!! You raskle!

Or, rather----why do apes look so much like humans?

Well, the same creator created us all. The animals were made first, then the humans. The humans were put "in dominion" over the animals.

Animals were not given souls.
Animals were not given the ability to recognize themselves or their creator
Animals were not given the ability to discipline their animal urges to mate, procreate-----well, I guess some humans can't either, though.

Anyway. We're not apes. Sorry, I don't get all excited when I hear an organ grinder playing. I can still decide whether or not I have to eat, instead of immediately eating just because I see food. I can still decide NOT to do evil toward others. Animals cannot do good or evil-----they can only do what is instinctive or what they've been trained by a human to do.

definite, it does mean that one and all primates have a soul, in a feeling. even with the undeniable fact that, we could examine what a soul is. Scripture depicts the soul because of the fact the breath of God, and breath is the inspiration of language and as a results of symbolic concept. it is likewise a link between the concepts and the physique, case in point this is partly voluntary and partly involuntary. Language is the be conscious, the trademarks of Johannine theology. Our souls are composed of the be conscious. while somebody dies and we hear approximately it, it diminishes us, and our recognition survives after dying by way of language or representation, whether basically in memory. the reason human beings are extra morally substantial than different animals is that our lives and deaths have extra effect on others as a consequence of language. while a toddler speaks for the 1st time, this is the human beings who use language around it which make certain it has spoken its first be conscious. This admits it into the linguistic community, yet that community has a separate existence from any people who make it up. that's how the soul arises - it exists in a linguistic realm finally in line with breath. as a result if this is often agreed that some thing has a soul, that contract constitutes the literal shape of that soul, like a criminal settlement. as a result different primates have souls the two in the event that they have a linguistic community or yet another linguistic community, case in point human beings, agree that they have. nevertheless, leaving all that aside, you will see a soul as know-how. know-how is a assets of count itself, yet isn't inevitably expressed or interactive till the subject it quite is wakeful is arranged in a particular way. A human ought to nonetheless be wakeful if she exchange into paralysed and lacked all senses. All count is like that, yet in a feeling much extra "injured" or "in yet otherwise abled". that would additionally practice to different primates, on account that they're composed of count. Christianity is distinctive in its refusal to divide the actual from the religious. there is the Incarnation, the resurrection physique and the dominion of Heaven on the earth, case in point. count is as a result wakeful.

Hrm? Well that comment all the way up there. Some apes have tools that they have built out of woods and the sort. Everything we have achieved is mainly materialistic things, they don't really matter. We don't only act like apes, we act like every other being ont his planet. Why? Because we all strive to do the same thing. Live.

You're funny.
And I like you.

Even though I don't believe in evolution.

You're dead accurate, for the most part.

But the picture thingy?

That's gotta go.

The only valid one is the one you read in Isaiah 53.

Have a nice day, 'cuz better days ARE coming.

( I wouldn't insult a monkey by comparing it with a human. See how nifty they are? They don't retaliate. )

Well,an ape cannot read, write,or talk,so humans have that going for them first.Humans have invented many things, and apes have not.So therefore;it is my conclusion that humans are nothing like apes.

I'd say the opening scene in "2001:A Space Odyssey" pretty much sums all of this up.

Great question, BTW. :)
