Usually hair grows ~15 cm a year. Go see a doctor or ask a good hairdresser, I'm not very good at this.

The hair is not just a part of your body and it is a symbol of beauty, status and health. It is important for you to take proper care of your health in order to prevent early hair loss. Learn here https://bitly.im/aMwYm It is not a very serious problem and with a little bit of caution you will be able to prevent further hair loss. There are certain uncontrollable factors like pregnancy conditions or certain illness or genetic factors that will result in hair loss. I would listen to your nutritionist that it WILL take some time, and if you want more specific answers as to how long and what you can do to prevent your hair loss, i would as your nutritionist, or your doctor. Every person is different, and it's hard to say how long it will take but you must be patient.

In a couple of days you will see a difference if you keep up with the healthy diet. You should probably take multi vitamins also. I take them for my hair to stay healthy and grow quick.

Are you stressed out in your life? A friend of mine was losing her hair for a while. She was pretty stressed out in her life. Getting married, moving, new job. After she finally calmed down, got married, had a kid, her hair had already grown back. Took about a couple of months. Right now, it's as short as "bob cut".

It took a year to get that way, may take as long to get back. My aunt lost hair from nutritional problems during her first pregnancy. I remember it took a while, but it did grow back.
