ive had that probalem my entire life! i feel ya - you can have some long layers cut, that creates the illusion of thicker hair. i know its a but more drastic, but i dyed my hair darker and it looks alot thicker. or you can go to your hairstylist and have them put some lowlights/highlights in it. the contrast creates the thicker illusion was well! good luck

Anytime you put product of any kind on your hair, it coats the hair shaft. I color my hair, which adds some thickness, and I put gel on it while wet, then dry it and put pomade on it, then hair spray to hold it. It's kinda the glue the strands together to look like more hair theory. I also have it short. The long thing didn't work for me--you can't get any volume on top with that, so it always looks thin and stringy. You have to go with what looks good on you and with your hair type--not always what you see in magazines.

ugh i have this problem too... but i have dark brown hair... I tip my head upside down and tease my hair a little... the only problem is that my hair is so smooth that it falls out in half of an hour... but you should try it cuz it might work for you.. there are also sever brands of volumizing shampoos but I havn't had much luck with those

Use volumizing shampoo & conditioner (I like Aussie). Also try blow-drying your hair upside-down.
