yes, in the last election it was well known that it was gonna be close, so both sides were trying to appeal to the Amish. Dems with a pacifist like angle, and Repubs with the religious angle.

fewer than 10percent of Amish ever vote, but when the Amish do vote, they usually side with the Republican Party. That makes them an attractive, if unlikely, voting bloc

NO way.
they have nothing to do with this world we know of.
except SOME will allow their children to go to public school around the age of 13 for 1 year. if they want to go out to 'the world' at that point then they are released from their duties (and families) to NEVER return.

No. They consider themselves a self sustaining community and as such they have their own community leaders which are set apart from the governing of the secular world.

Maybe you are thinking that they do not participate in the census? I believe they have a religious objection to the census. Not sure why.
