You are using food as a control method. You are having problems and it seems to you that you have no control over your life at all. This can happen because of a trauma such as rape or abuse. It can happen because of very very strict parents and I mean they tell you what when and where and even what you will grow up to do and clothes to wear each day--very controlling and non trusting. Food is the only thing left to personally control so that is why so many young ppl get anorexia and bulimia. You may have been teased about your weight by parents, siblings, students, and other stupid people and you want to lose weight.Your mind betrays you and then you really think food is bad and get caught up in an eating disorder. Please get immediate help or you will ruin your health and maybe the possibility to have kids later. Your heart will give out and you will suffer heart attacks! Your hormones will not function and you will stop your periods. You will lose fat first, then muscle and all of your energy and not be able to go places with friends-you will be exercising and sleeping, and then you will just be skin over bones and not be able to move due to an exhaustive state. Sound like fun?Get counseling to deal with the real issue because you know deep down that food is good! If it is your family that is adding to the problem or not they need to get help also! Please do not continue to do this! I will pray for you to be healed mind, body, and spirit. DO NOT LISTEN TO NO. 1'S ANSWER!!!

An eating disorder. Yes, honey... most definitely.

Please get some counseling and I you will learn that food is healthy for your body, doesn't make you fat at all if you eat the right things and not eating will harm your health in many, many ways.

I'm going to step out on a limb and say you're a teenager. Please speak to your parents or your doctor, guidance counselor, teacher, Sunday School teacher, coach, instructor of any sort or any other adult you trust (women will be far more familiar with this problem than men will because eating disorders are more common in women.) If you have a friend or acquaintance that you know has gotten help for an eating disorder successfully, this would also be a good resource.

Just make sure you do something positive for yourself and help yourself to stay healthy. Right now your mind is sort of working against your body. You need to get your mind to work right so your body will stay healthy. Best of luck to you...

Nothing wrong as far as I can tell. food is my worst enemy. I've got it so that I never even feel hungry, most likely because I don't eat if I can help it, and if I do it wouldn't feed a bird some say. I just though how gross it was for a long time and how sick I was of being fat. I'm 5'5" and weigh 128 pounds, my BMI score is 21. ICK!

Yes, it makes you a candidate for an eating disorder. You need to eat to live. See a doctor before your life is threatened.

i agree, most food is disgusting. but you have to eat a little bit to sustain a healthy weight! you don't want to wither away to a nasty gross toothpick that people feel sorry for because of their problem. you have to eat good foods! there are a ton of foods out there that are healthy. i love fruit, i could seriously just eat fruit, cereal & yogurt all day to be happy. just find something healthy because everyone needs to eat, or else you will die of malnutrition.
