Floyd said it himself, whether or not he is exonerated damage has been done to his character and career. Lance went through this for years even though it could never be proven. The cycling federation is on a witch hunt and like any other inquisition prefers on the public forum than the private.

This just seems to point back to the anti-American backlash that the French have. The clean test makes me wonder if this is just a payback of sorts. When they got shot down by the UCI and the Armstrong case was closed, perhaps the Amaury organization decided to try and frame Landis. Not the first time this would be the case. Cycling's getting as dirty as boxing these days.

World cycling is full of rot -- it's drug-ridden from top to bottom. What cycling needs is for Landis to fail the B-test, embarrass the hell out of the tour organizers, have people tune out, and force them to clean it up once and for all.
This has got nothing to do with American or European. They're all using, and they've turned cycling into a joke.

I'm glad for the man, but still the victory is tainted becuz of the drug allegations against Jan/Ivan. We'll never know if he could've won against them.
