perhaps u are a controlling kind of person?? do things have to be a "certain way" and if they're not, it pisses u off?? the way i see life is this: u can't control anyone else, how they feel, how they act, what they think....but u CAN control yourself. also, i believe the more open minded you are, the more u can understand things in different ways, and be able to accept that life is not always the way you would like it to be. u need to let things go, maybe u have stuff in the past that made u uptight, or controlling, or use violence to get what u want. making people Fear you is not the same as getting Respect from them. i would rather have someone love and stay w/ me because they Want to, not cuz they are scared of me. take care of yourself, of the kind of person u want to be. if u need to see a counselor or therapist, by all means. it is no reflection on u.. in fact, that you can even admit u have a problem w/ frustration and anger is AWESOME. that's the 1st step...now do something positive about it. that way u can focus on the positives in ur life, and let go of the negative. surround urself w/ postive, happy, open minded people, and continue learning/growing what kind of Man you want to be, to ur wife, to ur kids, at work. be a good example, and don't worry about being frustrated, EVERYONE is!!! but work on how u handle problems, try to solve it in the best way and u will see the results are Much better for everyone than just getting angry.

Have you ever heard of *Anger Management* courses? You should try them. They proclaim to be of great assistance. Also seek therapy - The anger is buried deep and coming from somewhere in your past - it is not associated towards what is going on in the moment...It is just a time for it to be released momentarily. I've lived with a violent person with anger issues.....It is not fun at all. The scars stay...and are not easy to forget.
Even when the person seeks help - the memories of the violent times remain forever, so don't let it go to far and hurt the people that care for you most.
You are very smart to be aware that this is a problem...That's how I know it would be easy for you to get it under control.
Do what needs to be done.

You need professional help. Family Services can refer you to someone in your town, or if you're a student, you can go through your health center. At least you know you have a problem and want to fix it - good luck. Stick with it. You can be a better person.

talk to a therapist, cuz rage is a real condition that can be treated. I saw an episode of Intervention on A&E about it. It can be considered an addiction, cuz of what it does to the chemicals in your brain

Go to a secluded area like your room where you feel comfortable and write down how you feel in a journal. It's what I do when I'm upset. And then hug a teddy bear or any other stuffed animal that you love.

It's good you understand the situation. You should seek some help. There are plenty of programs to help out people in the same situation you are in. Until you do get some help, when violence is about to happen, get out of there... take a deep breathe...

Seek professional help. A therapist is a good start. If you are drinking a lot of coffee or doing a lot of speed stop.
