I heard about McDonald's fries not going bad (meaning not decomposing). The documentary SUPERSIZE ME tells all about that sort of thing.
It has to do with the kinds of oils that the fries are cooked in. Those oils don't break down or decompose normally, or at all. But I would consider looking at the documentary.

McDonald's french fries do go bad eventually. They tend to last longer than other fast food restaurant's fries because they put more preservatives in it than others do.

Don't pay attention to the "Super Size Me" bull crap. They do go bad. After 30 minutes. I work at McDonalds and we throw them away after 30 minutes because they taste really bad. And when the grease has been used a lot, they go bad even quicker.

They dont go bad ever, in fact you can keep a bunch in your drawers for a few months, come back to them and they can be used for other things such as, holding up a broken table (as a leg) or as a grease pen to write on plastic!

They DO go bad. And they're bad for you. It's the oil they choose to cook them in that's bad. Full of trans fats and saturated fat.
