I'm a gay man and I understand my lifestyle is not traditional, I believe we all have a place in this world, the world needs people so a man and woman have sex and make a person, just imagine if everyone was str8 we'd have too many people on earth, religion has been responsible for a lot of killing and war throughout human history, even str8 people wish christianity would die out, gays do tolerate others, it's other people that don't tolerate gays, some might be filled with hate because they've been treated wrongly because of who they choose to have a relationship with.

First of all all you ignorant southerners, homosexuality is not a mental disorder. The DSM II stated that in the 60s. So take your ignorant Bush voting hatred elsewhere perhaps you should focus it on ******* your relatives. There's no way that kind of stupidity could flourish without inbreeding.
I've been called a breeder (in jest) before and yes I was offended and let the people know I was, they backed off and we continued to have a pleasant dinner.
I am a Christian but I don't tolerate or promote homophobia if I did what kind of Christian would I be? Christianity has a lot of issues colonialism, justifying slavery and segregation, and preaching hatred.
I used to live with ONE nutso gay person in my life. She had major issues. I met some members of her family so I know. She was and I'm sure still is VERY closeted. I'm sure there are others like her in the world but on the whole gay people are just like everyone else.
Homosexuality is not a choice (who would choose to be hated)

You're generalizing. Not all gay people are closed minded, intolerant, and hateful any more than all Christians or Jews are. Many gay people are religious themselves.
Also, homosexuality is no longer considered a mental disorder.

I went to a very liberal law school that I enrolled in because I felt that I was a socially liberal, democratic individual. Northeastern University School of Law.
I found that many of the gays and lesbians that attended the school, because the school was very open and tolerant, were the the most intolerant people I ever met.
Mostly the lesbians though. The gays were pretty funny sometimes in their testing of the verbal boundries - way too much information about your boyfriend's @sshole, Steve!!!!

I think you are the one with the mental disorder. Gays are like that because, just like any other race or religion or whatevere, they feel that straight people look down on them. "breeders" so what???? What do we call gay people????? "fags, queers" all kinds of rude andhateful names....that is exactly why they are "so full of hate". Christianity is a religion that shuns them for being who they are...I would hate it too if shuned me for being straight. Why cant you learn to tolerate the fact that they are gay. Its NOT a mental disorder...its their lifestyle. GET USED TO IT and STOP BEING SO INSENSITIVE!

I suppose they are fed up with right wing christians telling them how to live, act, and love. Perhaps they have become a little bitter as a result of not being granted the freedom to marry whomever they want to. Mental disorder? Wow, you are asking for it. I think it is a mental disorder to believe in and center your life around a book that is proven fiction.

Usually, gay people are more accepting than most. I have a gay friend and he's been called horrible things and he's been tormented for something he can't control. Because of this, he doesn't judge or label people. He's seen what its like to be hated and misunderstood, so he gives everyone a fair chance.

yes this is probably because of mental disorder...
u see a gay can't be having good and stable mind..
they are not loved by others as they needed so instead of understanding themselves and knowing themselves they start doing al this stuff and become gay..
and thus as time passes they start getting frustrated and hating this world.. they don't see anything else then their own needs and their own problems..
they hate people who try to change them or don't like and discard them...

Ok first off its not just "gays" full of so much hate. Your asking ignorant questions. Apprently your the close minded one. How about doing a little more research before coming on here and asking questions about a subject you obviously know nothing about. I realize it is your opinion, but your making yourself sound pretty "full of hate".
