Your choice of songs should also be determined by your vocal range, your age and the type of part you are auditioning for. If you are auditioning for a "standard" like Rodgers and Hammerstein, I wouldn't sing something from Rent or Aida.

It depends on your voice to determine if a song is easy to sing. So whatever you can sing well without straining yourself is the way to go.

Recently I've been getting hooked on Wicked. Defying Gravity is somewhat difficult for me, but I haven't really sung anything for a long time. The Wizard and I is fairly easy, you have to have a good range to sing it, though. There's a lot of other songs that are good from Wicked, too. You can hear samples at the site below.

Go to the Sights Sounds page and click Sound Clips.

I hope I helped!

Sing some songs from Grease. I love that movie. Or do they have to be broadway or something?

Something right for your age, your type, range, voice color and experience. You are not specific I can't help more. If you explain your self better I would help more.
