zoloft is indicated for various mood and anxiety disorders. this drug, sertraline is very well tolerated in majority of peoples. side effects are very minimal & reported in approx.9% patients. the most common side effects are sleep disturbance and ejaculatory disorders. the side effects will start in one individual from day 1 or day2 so dont worry, the drug may not cause any side effects 4 u. but keep it in mind that like any other antideprassents, zoloft will also take atleast 2 weeks to get the disired effects and the drug should be continued for atleast 6 months. the usual recommended dose is 50mg once daily.

I also had a bad time when put on zoloft...but some people I know did and do well on it. Certain meds aren't right for different people. I noticed a change right away...I know you are a male but for me as a female it made me moody and I cried all the time and could not make up my mind about the least little thing. I told my doctor and he took me off of it right away. Depending on how you feel now and i am not sure if your stress levels are fine now...you may try to ask the doctor for something just to take the edge off, but zoloft is definitely not your kind of med. You know that some of the EDD ex. viagra or levitra meds can make a male last way longer than even a normal ejaculation ....i am not trying to be funny it really is true and that would certainly make you more self assured of this problem you are having is only a temporary one. Hope this helped. You are too young to have to worry about such a condition also you need to go a little deeper into why you feel you are schizophrenic we can never really diagnose ourselves. I found out I was bi-polar many years ago and have maintained a very normal lifestyle since.

I took Zoloft and didn't experience any side effects. Doctor's prescribe Zoloft a lot and they seem to have good results with it. Now it is an anti-depressant so you have to take in consideration that you won't feel the effects of the drug for about 3 weeks. If you don't see a difference in a month with Zoloft than i would consider other things. Have you ever considered a drug that would calm you a bit, maybe something stronger for anxiety such as xanax?

RE:
Question about using Zoloft?
I just started taking Zoloft 25 mg last night for anger management. I was really scared to take it considering all the side effects. I was expecting to have some side effects last night or today but did not have any. Is this normal? I am not complaining but just wondering if anyone else has...

Hi,
Zoloft is a drug that was released by the Pfizer corporation in 1991 which aimed at fighting depression. Zoloft is a member of the Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor family, which increases serotonin levels in the synapse by blocking serotonin reuptake into brain cells.
Everyone has their own story of zoloft. Im giving you URL of a site which gives you every minute detailed history of the side affects and positive stories of the people who used zoloft.
Hope the site mentioned below clarifies all ur doubts about zoloft.

It really depends on how the medicine reacts to your body. Everyone is different. I wouldn't count on any kind of side effect. Its possible to have them but very common not to. Also, Zoloft takes 4-6 weeks to fully get into your system.

Zoloft is awesome but it will take 2 to 4 weeks to work. I'm not sure if it will help in the anger management but if you doc put you on it then it will work. No side effects with me except it makes you really hungary and you will put on weight.

The thing about side-effects of drugs is you might not have any. Your body might be fine while taking curtain drugs. I haven't taken Zoloft but I used to work in a Pharmacy and people use it for many reasons and that was one that a couple had it for. They said it seemed to work for them.

Relax. They are possible side effects. Most people don't have any side effects, but if you experience any, contact your doctor. I take Zoloft for other reasons, and everyone is different so don't base your possible results on anyone else. Anger management therapy will help you to understand what is going on and give you hints to help alleviate the anger, but in the meantime the meds will help keep you calm. Best wishes for your success for you and your family.
