That is how it works at our house. I pay the bills, I keep track of savings, and he uses his allowance for lunch. Anything else we talk about. This is because MEN CAN NOT BE TRUSTED WITH MONEY.

My sis does that. Her husband is a laborer who hauls drywall for a living. She is a stay at home mom. He walks in the door, hands his paycheck over and she deposits the check in HER account. She gives him $20 a week allowance and that supposed to pay for his drinks for work too. So needless to say I think it is wrong. Not only that but I think it is be-littling for a man.

My husband gives me his check. No i don't give him an allowance, I don't get one either. The money goes into the account we pay our bills and if any is left or he needs something he buys it. Its called a marriage what is his is mine what is mine is his. I have never asked for his paycheck he has always just gave it to me.

I do. My husband is bad with money. He gets like $50 a week to spend on whatever he wants, sometimes more just depending on what he wants to buy. I dont mind. He's the one that suggested it. No complaints here! lol

extremely no longer! My husband could make a greenback unfold better than i'm able to. although, the two certainly one of our paychecks bypass into one acct. and that i administration the money, ie. pay charges, and so on. as quickly as a week he is going to the economic employer and withdraws adequate money for himself and for me to do our working for a week and brings it homestead and provides me my proportion. looks to artwork for me.

I wouldn't have it any other way. Men are stupid with money. I've always paid the bills and keep a stack of spending money on the kitchen counter.
