if she needs space that's fine and you should give her that, but that don't just disappear. You don't have to spend every minute with her, but everyday check up on her, see how she is doing. You have to be caring with out intruding her space.

you can do one of two things. One wait and see if she calls you or two go over there and give her some emotional support that way she can't say you weren't there for her when she needed you. which always happens.

well..if she really needs to go to space as she said, tell her she's too late; the Discover space shuttle is back couple of weeks ago !

give it a few days, call her and tell her that you are there for her when she is ready. we all grieve at this time. if she has a good head on her shoulders she will know what to do.

just let her know your there for her if she needs anything. she probably wont ask, but it will make her feel good that you offer. all you can do is support her and be there for her, i suggest you call just to say hi and that your thinking about her.
