I personally think why why are they bringing more kids to this world, they're kids themselves and most likely they have no idea what to do with a baby, and worst for the baby it will have a neglectful life, mom will always be trying to go out cus she hasnt been able to and will put the burden on the teen's parents and the parents as stupid and loving as they are will always help the kid even if it means always taking care of the kid while the mom goes out and parties. what kinda life is in store for the poor children of teens ???

and if any of u do this for ur kids ?? dont u think ur making ur kid irresponsible, i mean if u have a kid no matter what age it is a struggle, so what does ur kid gain when and if ur always taking care of the kid and looking after it, these teens need some tough love or they need some birth control inserted when they're kids

no offence to all parents, but i think, its parents fault if the above happened, they should be strict since their children were todlers, they should teach those kids, and avoid giving all the freedom they need, even if they hate their parents, but it'll teach the children about life, even if their chldren got pregnant, the children has to learn to be responsible, force them to work, and force them to take care of their own children. it wont be fair, but life isnt fair...right

I know too many teens getting pregnant.

My older sister is 20 and has an 18 month old.

My cousin is 19 and has a 1 month old.

My sister's friend is 20 and has an 8 month old and is pregnant again.

I know how horrible it is. My sister has taken better care of my niece than some adults that I've seen. My cousin didn't know much before hand, but her maternal instincts kicked in when he was born, and with the help from my mom and sister and other friends, she's doing very well.

My sister's friend, the one with a baby and one on the way, she's just crazy. She doesn't know ANYTHING about babies or toddlers and she only got pregnant again because she is selfish and loves being pregnant because she likes the attention. Also, her husband is in the military and with another kid, they get more benefits. Her situation is terribly wrong, but my sister's and my cousin's isn't as bad as it seems.

Well I know the feeling. Became a Dad at 17 and was no where near ready to deal with being a parent. A lot of kids get pregnant out of ignorance about birth control and the others want to be a mommy but can't handle it. But a few manage well

What's with all the questions attacking teen parents today?

Anyhow, that's very stereotypical. Teens can make perfectly good parents. Some are awesome, some of em suck. You just hear about the really shitty ones. No one notices the good ones, because they blend into society just like every other mother.

I was married for a year and a half before I got pregnant with my son at almost 19. My son is almost 5 months old now. My husband has a very stable job that pays very well, we live in a very safe community with a low cost of living, which enables me to be able to stay at home with my son.

I've spent 1 night away from my son since he came home from the hospital. He stayed the night with my best friend when he was 3.5mo because she had been bugging me since the day he was born. The only other time that I'm with out my son is for about 1hr a week when my husband and I leave him with his sister and go grocery shopping. It's just a little "us" time that we get.

Just because you're "old enough" to have kids doesn't automatically make you a good mother. Andrea Yates was pleany "old enough" to be a monther and look what the hell she did to her kids! I'm 19 and my son's not drowned in the bath tub, so I guess that disproves your theory eh?

When we go out to eat we take our son. When we go shopping, other than that once a week, we take our son. When we visit friends, we take our son. When we go for a drive, we take our son.

Oh, I forgot, we did leave our son with his sister for about 4 hours the night before mothers day, because my husband wanted to take me out, so we had mexican food and went and saw Posidon. And I thought about my baby the entire time.

I don't regret for 1 second having my son at 19. Or getting married at 17. I'm still going to be young enough to be a "cool" mom. I'm going to be able to chase my son around when he's 10 years old. And my (future)other child too. I'll be 37 when he graduates high school. Probably around 40 when the next one graduates. So I'll still have pleanty of life to live then, if I feel like it. Then again, I might adopt another baby then.

It's Dan and Sadie's fault.

I knew it would come to no good when my third grade teacher ask us what we wanted to do when we grew up.

Sam got up first.
My name is Sam
When I grow up to be a man
I want to be a fireman if I can
And I think I can

Then Hans got up.
My name is Hans
When I grow up to be a man
I want to be a salesman if I can
And I think I can

This went all around the class.
Then the last two got up

My name is Sadie
When I grow up to be a lady
I want to have a baby if I can
And I think I can

Then the last kid.
My name is Dan
When I grow up to be a man
I want to help Sadie with her plan
And I think I can

That was the beginning. And I told them so.

stop teaching abstinance in school, for one.... make condoms easier to access....

kids will have sex, it is human nature and back in the caveman days, and even more recently, it was quite normal for 14 year olds to be getting pregnant... so, stop trying to change nature, and learn to live with it...

They should be mandatorily chemically sterilized until they can prove that they earn sufficient income to provide for a child. I'm sick to death of my tax dollars financing childern to have babies.
