i like a guy who is 3 years older then me. i am really mature and he is so sweet should it matter?

Eh, he is fifteen and you are just twelve. Your parents won't be pleased about it. I say give it time, be his friend for a while, and if you still feel this way after a few months, then go for it.

You didn't say how old you are. If you are 13 and he is 16...I'd say he's maybe too old. If you are 18 and he is 21...doesn't matter at all...
Age is only a bigger issue when we are very young - or when we get older. Someone 13 perhaps is too young for someone 16. Flip side of that is someone 60 is too old for someone 45...as by the time the 45 year old retires and is ready to enjoy life at 65?...that 80 year old may not...probably not...lol...age can matter...but all depends on how old you are. Even a mature 13 yr old and a "sweet" 16 year old...(might) be not prepared for each other...my two cents.

it depends on how old you are and how old he is. If you are still 17 or younger, try to stick with people your own age. People in the ages of 14-17 are in a different place in their life than somone in the ages of 18-24.
However, if you are older than 16 or 17, then 3 years shouldnt matter that much. My boyfriend and I are almost 4 years apart in age, yet we have been together for 3 and a half years.

Yes, age matters if the guy is 18 and you are 15. If he is 21 and you are 18, no, it doesn't matter.

Age ain't nothin' but a number!!! 3 years older than you is not a lot. Unless you're like, 14 or something. Age don't matter, but laws do.

It depends on how old you are? As long as you don't cross the 18 year old border, or you might get someone in trouble. When you get older a 3 year difference is nothing.

age isn't a big deal....as long as you are legal. My hubby is 5 1/2 years older than I am ...and it never caused problems.
I honestly believe that age/race/sex doesn't really matter...if you fall in love with a person, you should do whatever it takes to be happy.

If you are 15 and he is 18 then it is a problem. If you two are older then it does not matter. Have fun and go for it !!!!!!!!!!!

it really depends on how old you are. my boyfriend is 16 years older than me, so 3 doesn't seem like that big of a difference.
