Put on your best dress and walk into the room with your head up and a look of confidence on your face (even if you have to fake it). You deserve to be there just as much as they do, make sure you go and have a good time!

Show up because you were invited. Talk to other people and don't even pay any attention to the others. If they want to talk to you, they will. I agree with LMF to just hold your head up high and be the better person. It will make you want to puke and it will make you want to tear their heads off, but just remember, you are better than them and you will show it. Hopefully they will realize how they screwed up.

Hold your head up high, and show them that you are the better person in that group. If its killing you on the inside, don't show it. You are attending as a guest, and you are wanted there. Don't let them make you feel uncomfortable. Just take it in stride and show them you don't need them at all.

I had a similar experience...My brother was getting married and the jerk invited my ex...he says they were friends. Anyhow, he came along with the girl he cheated on me with. It was awkward, but I survived. Just don't let them see that it bothers you and surround yourself with fun people. Its only for one night.

If that happened to me, My best friend would still be bruised from it. She'd be in a wheelchair and not be able to talk, but that's just me. You should hire a hot escort and make them both jealous!!
