Well, rarely you'll ever get anyone telling you their actual age be it on the web or in real life.
But if it's on the net, you can always go by your other senses e.g. hearing (if they've webcam with voice) & sight.
Another good indication is, their use of language. Grammar/ emoticons/ sentences (are they articulate?), etc.
That's usually a good sign/ hint as to their age although there're some adults who are still very much like kids, lol!

Either you should just let it go, or stop talking to them. For all they know, you could be an old perverted weirdo, (no offence ment) so it's actually very smart of them not to tell you their age. However, it does go the same for you not knowing their age, so they could be the nasty. So as i said, either just forget about the age thing, and just talk, or don't talk at all.

Why is it important? I'd say a person's age is there own personal information. When they deem it proper to tell you , they wil. Until then, enjoy your visit here to this realm of existence....

easy steal their drivers licenses and check out the date of birth and calculate the rest r if they dont have dat call up their mom she'll tell ya and i'm sure u'll probably get a few embarrassin stories about him/her 2

My favorite method is to ask what his/her Chinese zodiac sign is. You can first ask for his/her Western zodiac sign so it seems like a natural question.
Assuming you can guess within 12 years, you can then figure it out with the help of sites like

Put their name into Zabasearch.com If their name comes up sometimes it tells you the year they were born.

Try and see if they will answer other questions,
What year did you graduate high school/elementary?
What year did you start school?
Try and "trick" them into answering...then you should be able to figure it out.....
