As long as YOU are not the dog's mate, don't worry. It could be that exposure to a dog's qualities has raised your standards for other relationships. If your interest in men before was pretty superficial (going for looks instead of personality), then this could be nothing but a good thing for you. If you still want to meet quality men, find a local dog park. There you will meet other dog lovers and you'll start off with something in common. Nothing tells more about a person than how they treat animals.
