Well you're entitled to one, but why bother? Unless you want two passports? You can travel wherever you like on both of them with no restrictions, so no real advantage ...

How much traveling do you plan to do? Where do you think you will use the British one as opposed to the Irish one ?
Here Canada)it costs 87 dollars and it is good for 5 yrs .....not a lot of money but at the same time it's a lot of money. Whatever the cost of a British passport is is it worth it to you?

As you have already given up your Birthright and are now British why hang on to an Irish one?? You are British, and God help you!!
On second thoughts, I am a great believer in the re unification of Ireland, and kicking the Brits out , it wont be long coming, best get an Irish one and dump the British!!

Depends on whether there are any benefits to you over the Irish one. I seriously doubt it, and it's going up to £66 soon for a UK passport, so I wouldn't bother if I were you. I don't think anyone has any grudge against the Irish anywhere...

you elect your Aussie passports to circulate into and go away Australia - this is the regulation in Australia. in case you prefer to circulate to the united kingdom or the different eu Union united states, displaying the citizenship certificates could be sufficient to enable you in devoid of questions. I could say, however, that having surely British passports makes it lots less complicated.

If the British one gives you the advantage of not requreing a visa for certain countries, then go for it. But I dont hold either so I wouldn't know.
