How can I clean soiled Polariod prints?

I took several color Polaroid photos at my wedding. The prints came with us on our honeymoon in hot / humid Costa Rica and now they have a sticky film on them. How can I remove that without damaging the prints?

I would scan them into a digital format, and clean the digital picture. Then you have them for eternity in the digital format. They can be backed up, and protected.
