why do married couples always try to set up their single friends?

Married couples always try to fix up their single friends. Has this happened to you? was it a successful date or the fix up from hell?

I haven't had a married couple try to fix me up. I haven't had anyone try to fix me up. I think I could handle the fix up but I'll never know because it hasn't happened yet.

Because they still want to hang out with their friends but now there is something different making it diificult from before.
