I think its weird, but only because it will take some getting used to. I must say if a guy has a stupid last name I rather keep mines. I would think it was odd if a guy wanted to take my last name.

I remember plann to ask my wife to change my last name to her name and I don't want to have ntohing to do with my father last name. she told me i shouldn't do that because of you change a better person to than being like yoru dad so i did kept the last name and finally first time 34 years i wnet to my dad side but my real father pass away feb 06 but my uncle told me and I told him iw as plannign to change last name and he said shocked and said why??? i told him not happy with last name what dad did to me all those years. He said you know see you now you way better than your father and you only son that carry last name.

I was like thinking that really i though others but i am glad I didn't change my last name and now guess what my son 2 years old carry my last name and it was the biggest bless ever. so I thank my wife for really telling me not to change the last name. and Uncle and family very proud of me for being great Nephew, Son, Father, and Brother smiling.

well in my sister in laws case, it would have been better....... her first name is the same as her married last name only with an s added. I would say it here but she may be watching!

I would find out why this man wanted my last name, **** is he a criminal, does he have a wife and children he's trying to escape from, before I would consider this weird request.

I think nobody should take anybody's name. A person deserves to be left a little of his/her freedom. I wouldn't take his and if he wanted to take mine, I would see it as a weakness.
