The first thing to realize is that an evangelist is a performer, and as such his name is his calling card. Consider Billy Sunday. Where would he be today if he'd gone by his real name - John Davis? Probably dead and in his grave. And what of Estus Pirkle, Rod Parsley, Creflo Dollar, and Benny Hinn? Where would they be today if they'd kept their respective given names: Ed Clark, Tom Johnson, Mike Smith, and Jeff Hill?

What would you call yourself?

Brother Creflo M. L'Impe? Pastor Wick "Bo" Timbers?

First off I KNOW about Billy Sunday (I have done extensive research on him) His real name is William Ashley Sunday and Billy is a common nickname for William that he actually got when he was a Young Baseball player. From famous ball-player to famous evangelist, William Ashley "Billy" Sunday is still remembered today for his energetic preaching style and large, successful evangelistic campaigns across the United States. In his lifetime, Billy Sunday addressed over 100 million people without the aid of loud speakers, TV, or radio.

I think therefore without doing any further research that your other names are made up too.

Edit: I have checked Rod Parsley and records show that as early as the age of 8 he was know as Rod Parsley so I doubt that name was changed. (why would a 7 year old change his name)

I have een unable to find the birth or early records of the others still Two out of the Five you mentioned are LIES so the rest of your post is probably a lie. Nice try though.

Actually an evangelist is anyone who preaches the gospel...

e·van·gel·ist Pronunciation (-vnj-lst)
n.
1. often Evangelist Any one of the authors of the four New Testament gospel books: Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John.
2. One who practices evangelism, especially a Protestant preacher or missionary.

Please keep your generalizing to a minimum when wanting to contradict others.
