Jesus peace be upon him would never tell lies about Islam only the truth. those who claim to follow Christ and tell lies are not Christian. only those who do follow christ and tell the truth in all things are my brothers and sisters.

There are many Christians who spread lies about other Christians - for instance, some Protestant groups believe that Catholics worship idols, Some Catholics believe that they are the only Christians, and that Protestant groups are doomed to Hell. Some Protestant groups believe that other Protestant groups are "cults." It is ignorance, pure and simple, and a departure from the Great Commission of Jesus to minister to the world, heal the sick, and care for the widows and orphans. It flies in the face of our other instruction from Jesus - to let the person without sin throw the first stone, and to refrain from judging that which you do not understand.

Sometimes there are mis-informed persons espousing many things, however, sometimes they may be accurate... And others do not want to see the truth being exposed in that... We are to expose evil where we find it... It's usually not met with open ears when we say things that are harsh truths... Always look for someone to site their sources, finding out where did the information they have come from... Is it fact? Look up their sources and search for the truth, since sometimes it is an ugly truth many do not want to see.

Good question. I'm LDS (Mormon), and you wouldn't believe the hostility and hate I've encountered from "Christians". Walk into any "Christian" bookstore and see how big the anti-Mormon section is for proof.
Do you think Jesus would have spend as much time and energy tearing down other people as many good "Christians" do?

Some people don't know any better. They were taught a certain way and have a difficult time leaving that mindset.
Others are simply bigots. They love to use things out of context simply to fuel their arguments, and act like ignorant racist rednecks.

My point exactly. Islam is NOT evil, people. It's more similar to Christianity than you might think. Maybe that's what scares them.
