It seems like major God bashing going on here. That really scares me. The most important thing is that people accept Jesus as their Savior and it seems like so many are completely blaspheming God, the Bible, etc. for whatever reason, mocking Christians for believing in God.

Yes, there are a lot of atheists on here.
But I will tell you that this mockery and blasphemy was foretold in the Bible. We should pray for those who insult Christianity and it's followers. It is Jesus' way to combat the torment of insults.
Just imagine how Noah must have felt when he was building a huge boat. I can't imagine the insults hurled in his direction in those days. It's a wonder that he was not killed because people thought he was crazy.
Don't be scared about the God bashing. I know it's a little overwhelming at times, and almost like some of these people don't have a soul. But I tell you again, Jesus warned of these things happening. Just more reason to love him and follow his word. God bless.

I'm an agnostic/atheist. Some people have brash and rude approaches to discussing anything. But I gather that you are taking anyone disagreeing with your religion as an attack upon it. I don't believe there are any gods, I argue that god doesn't exist and that all the religions I know of are wrong in many ways. I'm sure you'd take that as blaspheming and mocking and attacking. They are simply my opinions and I express them and provide what evidence I can to back them up. If you don't want to witness the sight of people disagreeing with your faith I would suggest you limit yourself to those sites dedicated to Christians sharing their praise amongst themselves. If you come to a place that discusses and debates among all faiths and even those who have no faith then you are going to have to get used to often heated criticism.
I would suggest that you either avoid the debate or present your most compelling arguments. Taking offense that people disagree with you isn't going to get you far or be much fun for you.

I was going to ask that EXACT same question! It seems people come to this site just to bash God and Christian beliefs. I don't get it. I think Yahoo! Answers should have a separate Atheist/Agnostic section where they can spread their distaste without bashing the questions and/or beliefs of others.
I am sooo a Christian but I dont bash the beliefs of those who dont believe or of those who believe differently.

No, everyone on here isn't atheist..i'm not.I'm a Christian..its just that atheists know subconsiously that they need God, and the only way they can express it is by dissing Christians. If they don't believe in God, why do they make a such big deal about Him? They give Him and His people so much attention. They're trying to prove to themselves that God isn't real...and one of these days, they will know that He is...hopefully it won't be too late for them.

I try not to mock or be rude....but I do not believe accepting jesus as savior is the most important thing. I do not believe in god. That is my choice.

I'm not an athiest... so I guess no, LOL. I'm not Christian but I don't bash Christianity either. I believe that there is no one spiritual/religious path that is right for EVERYone and that all paths lead to the same goal. I respect your right and your decision to be Christian and I hope that you will respect my right and decision to be Pagan the same way, and not try to convert me. I know what my other options were (Christianity included, since i was raised Presbyterian) and I chose to be where I am now. No need to try to win my sould for Christ because I already know I'm where I belong. :-)

No, for one I am not (an atheist that is) I have been saved since January 6,2000. I am not surprised at the attitude here but what the Christians have to do is two things: Tell the truth no matter what and do it with love and compassion.

I am Wiccan but I think the God bashing asnd rude comments anbout others religion is awful and needs to stop. Reguardless of what religion you are you shoul have respect for others and there beliefs.
