I live in a small town (pop 12,000) and we don't have too many illegals. So there's no problems with over crowded schools,traffic..etc,etc.I also live on the coast and alot of illegals are employed by shrimp/oyster boats so they don't stick around they come to land and stock up and then they're gone again.
My great grandparents on my mom's side immigrated here from Czechoslovakia.I'm pretty sure they were legal.Other than that there's the paletero that sells me coconut paletas for a $1.The kids in my neighborhood and myself would be pretty sad if he was deported.
My neice was beat up by an illegal woman and her daughter, and the woman wasn't even arrested.I know for sure she was illegal. And once I dropped laundry off at the laundromat to dry while I was at work and when I went to retreive it there was a chinano carrying my basket to his truck with my laundry in it.He acted like he had made a mistake and picked up the wrong basket(yeah right). That would have been messed up.....I would of had to buy a whole new wardrobe.I'm not sure he was illegal.
So to answer your question ...no.I'm not illegal,I have no relatives that are illegal. It's not a personal issue for me.I just think it's unlogical to deport millions of ppl. Some of them have been here for decades. What about their American born children? What if they own homes in the US?It doesn't make any sense to me......

No, i'm not illegal!!! Neither are any of my family members!!!!! And, yes,we ALL have a personal stake in the outcome!!! It is affecting every citizen in this country, whether they realize it or not!!! The tax dollars paid in goes to subsidize illegals and their familys!!! There is NO such thing as "cheap labor", because it COSTS everyone that pays taxes!!!!!

The only thing I have at stake is the kids & young adults I worked with in the holding facility listening to why and how they got here the majority were from South and Central America,And the hope for amnesty and Help for them.

yes, I am affected directly because the last time I went to my local emergency room I had to wait in line for hours because of all the non-English speaking illegal aliens were ahead of me!

AND my taxes keep going up to pay for the free education for the children of illegals! AND my children suffer because there aren't enough teachers for all the illegals who can't speak English and refuse to learn English!

Of course we have a personal stake in this. Our schools are falling further behind-Hospitals are closing-States are running out of benefits-our laws are being disregarded. It has affected many.
We have to draw the line somewhere-it is "Impossible" to care for everyone who wants a better life. We need to take better care of the citizens here first.

Personally I think most of the pro illegals have an axe to grind ... would appear to me these people think with their hearts rather than their heads ... admirable to a certain degree, but not very logical ...

I think that illegal immigrants should be treated more seriously than they are. For example, if companies know that they are illegal, then they should not hire them. I am not racist, I promise

sure. i develop into planning on hiring a stay in housekeeper. isn't waiting to arise with the money for one now. i'm no longer kidding. I used to flow by Catholic charities for my hiring. They provided sturdy workers. i ought to pay them $500.00 a month plus room and board. It develop right into a sturdy deal all round. that they had no residing expenses, so each and each and every of the money develop into theirs to save (no longer countless us have that a lot money left over after paying all our residing expenses). yet, now that I isn't waiting to employ immigrants, i'd be unable to arise with the money for one, which will recommend better artwork for me and a lot less relations time. variety of sucks, yet I understand. I choose that guidelines be enforced, yet i wager i develop into variety of hypocritical in that one. i got here upon the Mexican females to be the appropriate. employed one variety Honduras once, and she develop into lazy (sorry if this sounds harsh).

Yes I do have alot at risk. My fiance, my brother in laws, infact 1/4 of my family is at risk of deportation. If they leave then I have no choice but to choose between family or staying here in poverty by myself.
