They were not taught to chew with their mouths closed and not smack their lips when they eat. Blame their mothers.

Proper ettiquette in the US. But in several countries this is a jesture. They are smacking to let the one who has prepared the meal know that they are enjoying it (ie Korea and other Asian countries).

They can't tell what they're doing when they're eating. You have to let them know that.
