The most formidable military fortress are the thousands of miles of tunnels in Vietnam. some reaching hundreds of feet down. False corners full of booby traps. And these are all left over from Vietnam. Or how about the pyramids in Egypt. They can survive an all but direct hit from an atomic bomb.
