Because all religions are man made.
Major religions agree there is one spiritual creative force we call God.
The are also all trying to tell everyone on earth how to worship God.
But if you notice, God never comes down to tell anyone what they are doing wrong or right in the world. That is because humans have what's called "free will" to do whatever they wish.
All of the world's problems today are caused by class struggle and religion. These issues are also linked to money.
There are many ways to find God, many religions to practice if you choose to follow an organized religion. But you don't need to practice any religion in order to know there is a God. All religions are man made and they are made to control and manipulate humans.

Well, we don't all agree that there is just one God for us all. Some don't believe in any gods, and some believe in many gods.
Did you mean why are there so many denominations of Christianity if they all believe in just one God? In that case, it's because the denominations were created by people. People all have their own beliefs, and they feel that their beliefs are more true and more sacred than those of other beliefs. They create a denomination to set their beliefs off from the beliefs of others.

Why do you assume we all agree it's one god for us all?
Anyway, there are so many religions because everyone interprets spirituality differently.

Some are made by Idolators. Some were made by messengers of Allah but it was corrupted by time and people. Islam is the religion. The quran is not corrupted as others have.

Satan likes to keep us at each others throats, by having us believe we are the only ones who know THE truth. This way, we loose focus of what is truly important, that we are all children of God and should treat each other accordingly.

People choose to believe what they want to believe, meaning that sometimes, people deny the truth in order to feel more comfortable with their lifestyle.
