In a past question I was told atheists choose eternal torture in hell for not believing in god. So, if a christian is tortured by a Muslim (not killed) for not converting to Islam it is the christian deciding to be tortured? If they were given a chance to convert before the torture began. Or is that logic wrong, and atheists don't go to hell.

This is christian logic. I don't get it either. That is why I ask.

Your argument does not work. If an atheist does everything christians do, without believing in the jesus part of going to church, they are still atheists.

Atheists don't "choose eternal torture." In their minds, Hell is a fantasy and no one goes to Hell.

Some Christians think inflicting pain upon themselves, or having others inflict pain upon them, helps bring them closer to Jesus by allowing them to share his experience of suffering on the cross.

The Christian who does not convert is choosing to stand up for their beliefs and if for that, they are tortured by a sick soul, then yes. But, the Christian also knows that when they do pass from this world, they will spend eternity in a much better place.

He who denies Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Lamb of God;Jesus will deny before the Father. The reason why Christians don't deny God is because they trust & obey God. Muslims give apostates 3 chances to convert back to being a Muslim by denying Jesus Christ, Son of God, Lamb of God.

Christians, if they are truely delivered by God's Truth & Love, will stand steadfast in their faith. Even if they are tortured or murdered. God is with them during this horrible duration & their faith grows.

haterhater: In the Koran it writes to cut of an arm & a leg on oposites sides. You don't think that is torture?

It doesn't mean Christians like to be tortured, it means they decide to follow Christ, and that means not rejecting Him, even under torture. Atheists have a decision, each choice has a consequence, they follow Christ and get to heaven, or reject Him and go to hell. Atheists who don't follow Christ have ultimately decided they would rather have the short term fun of doing what they want than the long term joy of being in heaven. Christians who endure torture decide that they want the long term joy of being in heaven rather than the short term relief of being released from their torture.

First of all I don´t know where atheists go. Second, I don´t think all the Christians like to be tortured. Some of them would prefer to escape the torture and then repent.

I think your question is, if someone gave me the choice whether to convert to Islam or they would torture me, does my refusal to convert mean I enjoy torture. Are you serious?

No one likes pain (well, no normal person!)....but I would pray not to deny my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whatever the cost may be.

Atheists do not believe in hell at all. Therefore someone saying they are "choosing hell" by not believing...well, not according to them, since they don't believe it exists (side note: disbelief in hell does not negate its existence).

I'm confused about your question laced with sentence fragments.

Are you wondering if there is a hell, if muslims torture christians, or if christians enjoy being tortured?

Look, I am advising you not to use "the Torturing Muslim" example anymore. It seems that you use it frequently in your questions. The practice is forbidden in Islam and by using it, you offend Muslims.

Athiest go to hell according to Christians, Christians don't go anywhere acording to Athiests. Now if you were tortured into becoming something your not, then are you a masochist?

If a person is torture for not forsaking their faith, that is called a martyr. A martyr is NOT somebody who blows themself up out of misbelief. Atheists go to hell because they have NO faith, ergo, nothing to save them.
