When I was around 13 I got poison Ivy on my hand which some how went on my balls and in the summer time it was really nerve wracking. I used calamine lotion but it just didn't work. My family went to town (country boy) and it was me all alone. My Mom had used Mercurochrome on us for bites that itched, so I decided it was now or never and scratched my balls until they were raw and then poured on the that stuff and ran all over the house screaming and hollering. once the burning quit I had no itch. Next day the boys were scabbed over but poison Ivy gone. It worked but expect much pain for maybe 2 minutes and then it's all gone.

Get your b*** to the pharmacy and pick up some Aveeno Oatmeal bath, some generic Benadryl called diphenhydramine, and some calamine or caladryl lotion. When you get home, take the benadryl, soak in a cool aveeno bath for as long as you can - 30 minutes to an hour until the water is freezing and then cover rash with calamine lotion. Be sure to keep your skin as cool as possible all the time - and take a very long nap until the benadry wears off and then repeat. For severe reactions, you may need to get a prescription from your doctor for steroids. Even with the steroids, the above is recommended to calm and soothe the reaction.

If I were you I would visit my doctor for a cortisone shot. These injections are inexpensive and will provide you with relief a lot faster than pills or creams. If your doctor is booked up, try an urgent care facility in the area. They are usually open six-seven days a week with long hours and carry the medication you need.

Stop sitting around in the woods naked! Seriously, there's ointment for poison ivy, and it works. Get some.

Try a bath as hot as you are able to stand, and or aloe directly from a living plant. The aloe plant contains an enzyme that negates the active ingredient with exposure to air so aloe in a jar or bottle will not work...good luck, you need it

I'm sure you will be getting a lot of unhelpful answers in the mix. Soak in a bath with oatmeal (yeah I know it sounds nuts but it helps) and use plenty of calamine lotion. It is still going to itch but not as bad.

I almost want to find out how it got in those places. But, I am afraid to ask. Don't really want to know. Hope you had fun getting it. It sure won't be fun getting rid of it.
