When I have never met a Christian who lives the way Jesus stated believers should live. Are they for real?Or are they just trying to make themselves feel like they have shared the word to unbelievers. Do you christians actually think we are listening to your words and not looking at your lives?!!!

Im a christian and im glad somone who doesnt believe pointed this out, "Do you christians actually think we are listening to your words and not looking at your lives? This is an awsome quote and the facts are that some christians, maybe more than not, dont care. The bible doesnt say, "the only way to heaven is by believing in Christ & living by his words?" but just by believing in Christ. Christ new we are going to mess up and thats why He dont expect us to not sin to get into heaven. Christians arent walking the walk and this is the worst thing hurting christians today, ourselves. You will never meet a christian who wont do wrong, there never was one and there wont be one. But there are some who believe they can "be saved" and then do what they want. Well it hasnt worked that way and it never will. Some people get saved and they have addictions that they have to break, and even though becoming a christian doesnt make things easier or take away all the problems, it does promise that if you were serious about being a christian, then things will change. The christians that have addictions will struggle and give in alot before they can somwhat controle it and even though they give in when people are watching, its easy to go ahead and condemn Christ in their life. I think you ought to tell every christian you meet this same quote and they will either be convicted by the Holy Spirit or show that just maybe they were never saved. If people go forward to get saved but nothing ever changes in their life, as far as sin, then their was no conversion. People are calling themselves christians because they do alot of good works but thats not getting us to heaven but good works are a result that you are saved.

You'd be on to something if you didn't state this as an absolute. When you claim that all Christians live their lives in the exact opposite way of Jesus' teachings, you're obviously exaggerating. Christians aren't perfect; we're forgiven. Those who live less like Christ either aren't Christians or aren't very mature Christians. Open your eyes to see the many adherents of every religion who do (almost always) live consistently with their beliefs. We are embarrassed by those who do otherwise, but you way overstate your case to the point that your claim is ridiculous.

No one can live the way Jesus did because He is perfect. Nobody is perfect. I'm a Christian and I believe that the only way to Heaven is believing in the resurrection of Christ. Jesus died for all of our sins. If you hate someone it is the same as killing them. So, if you only THINK of sinning it is the same as doing it. I don't believe in backsliding and having to ask for forgiveness every time I commit a sin because Jesus died for ALL the sins we will EVER commit. The New Testament is about the Grace of God. Meaning that we don't have to Do anything because it has already been DONE for us by God sacrificing Jesus on the cross. So, as long as you believe in the resurrection of Jesus, you WILL go to Heaven. You don't have to worry about being perfect because no one can even come close.

Then you didn't meet a Christian. Listen, if you see someone who claims to be a Christian, but does not live that way, then you didn't meet a Christian.

I understand completely, and this is what you have to do, turn and walk away, this is God, trying to expose, reveal, and remove the "so called Christians" because God can't use them.

The Bible says, that God is the true vine and we are the branches, every branch that doesn't bear any fruit (people who claim to be Christians but aren't), He taketh away. But every branch that bears fruit he purges it, and uses it unto good works.

But this one thing you must know. There are real Christians out there, and I mean non-compromising Christians, who do what they believe.. they're out there, so don't look down on us just because you haven't found the right one yet. I know it's sickening to see people who don't "walk their talk", but you have to know that there are real Christians out there who do. And I am one of them. Seriously...

No, but you have to know humans are faulty. Sometimes, what is in the heart, and the way they act, may not be the same thing.

Take me, for example. I believe everything Christ taught, love and tolerance, acceptance. Those are HUGE Christ qualitys. I do my best not to judge, not to hate people. Have I sinned? Yes. Have a faltered? Sometimes. Is that wrong? Of course, but we can not be perfect. Salvation, or belief does not make us perfect, does not mean our choices are sometimes not Biblical. We are all faulty.

And, cant you admit that first impressions are not always correct. Maybe knowing that person, really knowing them, is key to seeing who they really are?

Any true Christian knows how its like to be loved by Him. and those who love Christ find greatest happiness in following His words. We as Christians spread The Word to all to help them to have the best destiny - Heaven. As Christians, we love to love one another. and we share our well of Holy love with others by telling them more about The Gospel. We love to imagine having everyone here in the planet who's sanctified in Christ to have 'the' common destiny.
To err is only human, and all of us make mistakes, everyday. that includes me too. i do commit errors, i do fall into temptations...but i go back to Christ everytime i sin. there's an innervoice right there in the middle of my chest that speaks of regret. i feel guilty, and i keep coming back to Jesus...His power of love brings me back to Him all times. No one is perfect but Him. and what makes Him perfect and humans not is that God can never be wrong, while we can be. keep in mind that we r supposed to live as images of God.
The idea is to live a perfect life through our imperfections...

You make a valid statement here but let's not forget that just because we're Christians does not mean we don't make mistakes or sin. NOONE is perfect. Christians should live by example but, unfortunately, many fall short. Thank God, we also believe that if we truly confess and ask forgiveness, we get it!

They believe it because thats what their magic book tells them to believe, the funny part is that there so called "rapture" is going to take a lot less of them than they think, because you are right, almost none of them actually practice what they preach. But they do have a get out of hell free card, because all they have to do is say I'm sorry, I repent. Its ridiculous, and incredibly stupid.
