I'm 15 and I'm dating a guy in his early 30's. We love each other and he actually cares for me. He hasn't tried anything sexual with me because he knows that he could go to jail for it and that I'm not ready for that. He loves me enough not to do anything like that with me until I'm legal. Is he too old for me and should we break up? My mom is not thrilled about this and keeps trying to break us up.

You're 15, and he's in his late 30's. That's old. I don't know how far you are from 16 either though. some girls are mature already as far as relationships and so on go when they get to this age. I know I sound like I'm preaching here, but I just turned 17, and I thought I knew everything when I was your age. The way I see it; if you're happy with him, then stay with him and see what happens. Don't be in this because you feel good being with someone. That's a mistake you don't want to make, trust me. Because he is in his 30's, chances are that he might just say to himself "hang on" and realize how old he actually is. the 30's are fine, but truth is people are getting old, and guys don't have a great reputation for sticking around and waiting. I'm not saying leave him because you are scared of getting hurt, I'm just saying if you feel comfortable enough and confident enough, then go for it!

Yes he is too old for you and yes you should break up.
Think of it this way: You would never hang our with seven year olds. So what is wrong with this guy that he is incapable of forming a relationship with a woman his age?
I have a guess: Women his age are focussed on family and marriage. Your guy is too immature to think about marriage. He has chosen to date a girl he Cannot marry.
Women his age have driver's licenses and cars and money and can come and go whenever they please. Your guy is too immature to handle a woman who can leave him at any moment she chooses. He needs someone he knows has to depend on him even for a ride. He has chosen to date you because he knows he cannot be hurt by you.
It's all quite sad, really. Tell him to stay away and call the police if he doesn't.

He is a creep. No real man would be "dating" a child. If he even kisses you or touches you in any way, your Mom can and should have his butt thrown in jail.

He might not be using you sexually but I'm pretty sure he's still using you.
You're not as mature as he is and it's easy for him to control you, same reason some guys go after fat chicks, they are easy.
Get out of this and find somebody your own age.

yes he is way to old for you. you still have a lot to live for. and are still very young. you have school dances prom and just hanging out with the girls. how does he feel about that? if he loves you as much as you say he does he will let you live your life and finish school and not hold you back and when you graduate and he still feels the same way then why not go for it.

Yes.... He is way too old for you. Even when you become legal, which I am assuming you mean 16 to avoid statutory rape charges, that is still sick. You need to tell your parents about your "new boyfriend" and see how they feel about it. This is a very abnormal, unhealthy and predatory relationship.
