Absolutely! Adults have different ideas about dating than teens. Teens should have a s***load of fun before the world comes crashing down on them. Adults often come into (or back into) dating with a lot of baggage that teens sometimes can't even imagine, and teens can often come into dating with a lot of baggage that adults have forgotten was ever baggage at all. Picture this... a teen might think that breaking up with a young lover, or getting screwed out of a prom date, or getting grounded (you get the idea?) is the absolute worst thing that could happen to them (and up until that point, maybe it IS). But talk to a 22 or 23 year old soldier (not that that is exactly "old")who just spent a year in Fallujah, (or Tikrit, or Bagdhad) and all of that teenage "trauma" can seem a little insignificant. Getting grounded is NOTHING compared to seeing friends die, or maybe killing 20 or 30 enemy soldiers yourself. Keep it in perspective.

Absolutely - Teens and adults have different views on dating and teenagers know more about how young people act now days because they're living it. As for adults, some are more ethical, but they don't get it sometimes if you know what I mean. Yahoo should send an e-mail to everyone 18 and over as told by their e-mail account and give them a password to get into and post in all the adult categories Yahoo should have. I'm a teenager btw.

Honestly i dont think there should be because what if a teen wants some advice and doesnt feel like going to their parents or doesnt have anyone to get advice from.. I mean people do need their privacy but everyone needs help sometimes..Even older people get advice from teenagers..

There really should be, I seen a young teen asking questions and then the next question i read is about orgasms.... I think that if you are under a certain age...you shouldnt be able to view some questions or something of the sort..

You are right, it can get confusing and, when teens come on here for advice, we want it from other teens, not from someone whose 'been in our situation before' Like they know what's going on today.

Are you afraid that some of us older people might be able to offer some advice that's relevant to you young whippersnappers? Or are you more afraid of offending us with your questions? I say keep the one category.

Yes and some people on here are way too young to be dating. some of these questions on here would really concern me if I were a parent.

yes...because teens can give other teens advice,
but at the same time, teens may ask elders for advice because they trust their opinion more...
is there a way to suggest that?
