Hah ha!! You make a good point there...
EDIT: I see it now: Sermons blaring through the store PA while Wal Mart churchgoers shop, saving money AND time! Greeters performing baptisms...casheirs performing eulogies (check-out, get it?)...

Because other religions would persecute you & sy you are being blasphemous & you'd have to "run away" to another country, but America has already been used for that & I bet any small island you find wouldn't have a Wal-mart. Hey wait, then maybe your religion would be likened to all those other ones where the peoples have been purged from their sacred home land.....It might work afterall. Though I seriously doubt you'd have ALL that many followers, I mean there isn't even ANYTHING spiritually connected to this Wal-mart religion yet, so you'd have to deal with that first & foremost. OR something...Okay Am I actually encouraging you to go ahead with this cockamainy plan? I'd say good luck, but I wouldn't mean it.

First it would be hard for Walmart to attain the status of Godhood. It saves money, but hardly lives. One could never claim that Walmart ever did any extraordinary acts. A company is incapable of judging or discriminating, but the people who run can. Finally you could never have a personal relationship with a building. Knowing the building is there will not bring you comfort.
What about sacred texts?
Nope it is a wash-out. Nothing can compete with Jesus.

Wal mart is a cult. They are in leage with NAFTA and the one world government. If you look at our "border crisies", you will see how the corupt shadow government is bent on destroying our nation and assamilating the US into the "world Government.
Have you ever wondered why they have smile faces all over the store, and now they are popping up as emoticons for the web? They are watching everyone.

The debate should be, is Walmart a religion or a cult? I do believe that some people live, love and die by Walmart.
I would say it doesn't qualify to be a religion, because while it might live righteously, it doesn't hold anybody else to a moral standard (as most religions try to do). It also doesn't make any statements on the right way to live or die, or what happens afterwards.

Generally the term "religion" is reserved for people who put a primary emphasis on the existence or non-existence of God. Wal-Mart may be a cult, but not a religion.

Wal Mart does give you eternal live nor can you buy it. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only one that can do that. He died for your sins He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Funny! I hate Walmart! And if you think they can save anyone...wow! You are sadly mistaken. They are NOT good to their employees! They waaaaayyyyy underpay them and when their fulltime, devoted employees get sick, they don't want to pay for anything to help them. My sister, who worked for Walmart for 8 years, was always there when they needed her, even when she was supposed to have days off, got very ill with and needed surgery. Walmart sent her to one of their doctors and he said she didn't need to lay off work or anything. She went to a couple of other doctors who both told her she needed surgery. Well, Walmart messed her over for 8 months, her suffering horribly in pain the entire time and finally, she is supposed to have her surgery. It took her all kinds of running down paperwork, hiring an attorney, etc. to get them to be willing to pay for anything. And all those years, she has paid for health insurance through Walmart. It's a sad sad thing. I hated Walmart long before this and now I won't even shop there.
