In scientology you are your own god. or a "thetan". you are also a "vessel" on earth and when you die you go to space and this huge machine clears your memory and sends you back down to earth with no knowledge of your previous life. the founder of scientology was a science-fiction author and decided that he wasn't making up enough money so he decided to make scientology. is you don't believe me he even admits it in his auto biography. his name is L. Ron Hubbard. click the link, this is so sad.

For many illness, no they don't, they try touch assists and auditing first. They do indeed go and see a doctor though if it is particularly bad. I suppose some other people can be stubborn about going to the doctor, but I do feel that scientology indirectly makes believe they can audit out many problems and illnesses, thus prolonging the time it takes them before going to the doctors.

For physical trauma, i.e., a cut, a broken leg, etc they will go and see a doctor, it is some illnesses and conditions they believe are pyschosomatic.

They also tend to hate psychiatrists and I gather would never get help for their emotional or behavioural problems outside of scientology.

I believe that people who have had any treatment from the mental health field needs to get special permission to undergo scientology training. I suppose you could look at this as a safequard, and something I agree with, because I believe scientology training CAN be damaging to the mind.

Theta look at the websites, yes they have opinion and sometimes the language is a bit extreme, but they also show exactly where they get their view from - the official evidence, court trials, official bodies, govt. investigations, ex-members, etc - they don't make it up because of some hidden agenda. What you suggest is quite simply insane.

If http://www.Xenu.net isn't true and you can prove it, the website owner of will remove anything that is not true, all you have to do is show the evidence (not your anecdotal experiences).

I did not know that scientology does not use medications for the sick. Some cults are like that. I like the Bible, it states that the 'herbs of the field are for the healing,' and since almost all medicineds comes from plants, and this scripture was prophesied long before we came up with labs to tell us that there are estrogens in plants and other useful chemicals... Well, shows that the Bible writers knew a thing or two...

Scientology is not a religion, it had to be registered as one in order to operate.

Scientology costs a lot of money, so it targets the rich who can pay. Read L. Ron Hubbard's book Dianetics so you can get an idea of what it is.

Well, thanks for the reference, but the data I gave you is accurate. I should know, I have been studying and applying Scientology successfully for the past 35 years.
( I also have and excellent medical doctor who I use if and when I, or members of my family, need one)

As to the data you get from a website that has the purpose to discredit religion.......... well you figure it out for yourself.

I don't know anything about Scientology. All I know is that actors are involved in it. That's surely another scam.

It's a cult. It may have helped some rich stars, after they gave a considerable amount to the cult, but it's a cult just the same. I don't know of any "regular" or poor people who are scientologists, so I have a feeling you have to have money to belong.

began via L. Ron Hubbard as 'self help concepts-set' referred to as Dianetics (he began out writing SiFi books and then wrote self help books) ...it right into a became "faith".....a lot of human beings (Christians, atheist, agnostics, former individuals, ect) say this is the proper 'text fabric-e book' occasion of a non-violent Cult (concept some individuals have reported actual and emotional abuse) the uncomplicated thought is: for the period of your and previous lives you have had unfavourable reviews which you will no longer bear in mind, those repressed reviews 'carry you decrease back'.... by way of particular counseling referred to as "Dianetics" (presented via the CoS. for a nominal fee) you may 'technique/take care of' those undesirable reviews....as quickly as there all dealt with, you may go beyond to a "extreme undeniable of existence" ....the top....
