OK, DougDoug, but where have I argued that Jesus is the son of God?

I would never ask this question. I do not care if you are a christian.
I don't care if you can prove it or not. No Atheist does.

christian

the name given by the Greeks or Romans, probably in reproach, to the followers
of Jesus. It was first used at Antioch. The names by which the disciples were
known among themselves were "brethren," "the faithful," "elect," "saints,"
"believers." But as distinguishing them from the multitude without, the name
"Christian" came into use, and was universally accepted. This name occurs but
three times in the New Testament (Acts 11:26; 26:28; 1 Pet. 4:16).

so... if you WERE a christian... you wouldn't call yourself a christian... therefore you are NOT a christian...

the perfect Hook, that any Innocent christian should take, to allowed will, and in his own mind to become, a godly atheist. That with in it self prof the impossibility for anyone to prove you aren't an Atheist. So, why should I wast my time any more? go on discourage me. but you can't be a Christian because you are deceiving, with the kind of questioning you are trying to achieved clarity and see the light through my senses, and then steal it, for your own benefit of course. this is my time to do the same to you, and simply because i have been waiting patiently. For my time to come. I'm your fish once again gone.

If by Christian you mean one who adheres to the scientifically debunked yet still publicly popular collection of fairytales collectively a part of the religion known as Christianity (named after its divine figurehead), then such a thing can not be proven as no one is capable of entering into your mind and examining your honest-to-goodness thoughts and beliefs. However, if you claim to be Christian then that can easily be argued as proof that you, well, claim to be Christian. And we can infer based on this that it is thus likely that you are, in fact, a Christian.

I find that if you claim you believe Jesus Christ is the son of God, then you are Christian. You may claim it and not believe it, in which case my assumption would be wrong.

So, I guess we can only go by your word. Ironic, isn't it that we can only go by the same process that religion is spread to begin with :)

Would not a Christian be a person who lives his/her life according to the teachings of Christ? Thus, if you do not live this way, even you cannot prove you are a Christian.

You know, it is kind of wierd to see that question on here. Our Pastor asked us in church one time, if someone accused us of being a Christian, could they come up with enough evidence to convict us.. Interesting question. I like to think I could be proven a Christian.

Better yet, Will. How about you prove that god exists.

I would hate to have to have my religion "proven". The Bible says we are supposed to be easy to spot by the love we show one another.
