My joints are very painful, and feel stiff. It's affecting my shoulders, elbows, knees, ankles and feet and especially in my hands. It's been going on for 3 weeks or so. I'm having trouble typing this, and with doing buttons or holding pens. My joints feel swollen, but aren't. The pain is worse when I've been asleep and when I've been using the joint. I'm 22, female. I have seen GP who has done blood test, but I'm intersted to see if anyone has any ideas on what it might be in the mean time or how I can cope with the pain in my hands as I'm finding everyday tasks increasingly difficult. Thanks

There are several things that can effect your joints. Rhumetory arthritis, Rye syndrome ( normally occurs from being bite by a tick). Plus many other conditions can cause this.
If you are still hurting and your general practitioner is not helping you find a different doctor.
Try using aspirin and see if this alleviates things. Also, think about the other things that are occuring that may be indications of what is going on. Ie stiff joints- is there any swelling or fevers, have you lost your appetite? Any changes to your body? Rashes? etc.

Well aside from the blood work that maybe looking for MS, arthritis, Lupus, or Lyme disease. It could be something called Fibromyalgia, Myofacia Pain, or Chronic Fatigue. Blood tests don't detect Fibro or Myofacia, and I don't think Chronic Fatigue either. Here's a tip. Go to fibrohugs.com and there is a symptom list and a pain diary. Check these out.
Hope you get to feeling better soon!

When i was 15 i had viral arthritis - it usually only comes on when i have had or going to get a cold, flu, or virus. I was prescribed ibuprofen for painful attacks, and paracetamol with ibuprofen for really painful attacks. Unfortunately i now have constant mild arthritis but it only really bothers me when i am too hot, too cold, or feeling ill. I am 28 now, so it could get worse as i get older. Being overweight can also put stress on the joints,
Hope u feel better soon

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/KVzpL
A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

sounds like some form of arthritis, either osteo-arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, they are both very painful and you need to take anti-inflammatory tablets and painkillers for either condition.
The blood-tests will tell your Dr. whatever it is,good-luck with the finding, lets hope you will be pain free in a little while.
