I think a big change is coming soon.
It is the Unification of the Religions
turning into only one.
All The World will know the Truth.
There is no future without GOD.

Finally, to Massomeh I just want to respectly let her
know it is the another way around. People will know
of Jesus, Her Mother Our Virgin Mary, The Holy Spirit,
The Purgatories, The Cure Of All The Diseases, The
Hell Destroyed, The Meaning Of Life, The Heaven
among others.
When All We will be able to see what it is on the other
side, many will understand others will be taken away.
The Rapture.
So the world together as one will love one another and many
of our sufferings and misery will be gone for those who will
be able to make it through.
So,
WAIT AND SEE.

I dont know about a thousand because even in Christianity it is foretold that it will end. Christianity is only for this current age. After it the rules for salvation change. Even on the "new" earth when armageddon and all the bad stuff has passed it will be something totally different then. This is according to the bible.
On a religion denomination sense yes different styles of religions will come and go.

Religions have died out in the past due to social changes, such as invasions or geographical events. The people concerned just accepted that which became the dominant religion of their area. Christianity spread via the Roman Empire (whose own gods died out). It has been through many changes and splits in the last 1,000 years and is still here.

100% absolutely positive that christianity will be long gone in a thousand years. There will be no human life on this planet in 1000 years. The way people keep reproducing at exponential rates and the way we use up resorces. There will be little more than cockroaches on this planet in 1000 years. We are the Lorax

With any luck it wont be around in twenty years or less. I really hope that all religions go the way of the dinosaurs so we can have half a chance of surviving the next thousand years.
Can you think of one single constructive purpose for any religion in the modern world?

Christianity is NOT a religion. Christianity is a state of being. We have a living, breathing, functioning Holy Spirit living within us, guiding us, teaching us. Religion is merely practices, philosophies, doctrines, dogmas, and corporate structured organizations.
Yes, Christianity will be around because the Holy Spirit will never die.

No no no, the real question is how long the human species will survive. It is clear that all species have a limited life span, and since humans are not immune to that reality, the issue of religion is moot.
