Starvation is the WORST way to lose weight! Your body doesn't get any of the nutrients it needs, and you end up losing muscle mass, as well as the fat. I've lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks on a low carb diet.

well since you didn't ask what is the BEST way to loose weight, which would be going to see a nurtrience at your local hospital (they are usually free) and working out a diet plan that will work for your budget and lifestyle, and then in incorporating at least 30 minutes of exercise a day into your life and gradually loose the weight, safely. I will tell you, aside from starvation, the fastest way to loose weight would be an old anorexia trick called, the 2,4,6,8 diet. You see when you starve yourself, your metabolism shuts down, and your body recognizes that you are starving and starts to slow everything down (which takes a while and mostly like you will gain weight). Your body will eat your fat and muscle which is horrible and why so many poor girls with eating disorders look so boney, their bodies have eaten all their muscle and good (yes good) for you fat. But with the 2,4,6,8 diet you trick your body. IF you really want to know what it is I am sure you can look it up on the net sometime, but take it from someone who knows a thing or two about starving yourself, and don't. You don't have to be perfect for anyone, and I am sure you look beautiful just the way you are. Be healthy, not skinny.

Oddly enough, starvation does not really make you lose a whole lot of weight. Essentially your metabolism actually slows down in order to preserve as much energy as possible, so then when you eat again you will gain the weight right back again. It's crazy! I've found the best way to loose weight, (a smallish amount) is to actually do a cleanse where you do not eat wheat, meat, dairy or refined sugars and keep as raw as possible. So you basically end up eating a lot of vegetables and fruits and fats (like oils and nuts). I did that for a week and I felt so great and I also lost weight. It essentially tricks your body into thinking it is starving (but you should indeed keeping on eating your fruits and veggies when you are hungry and also drinking a lot of water) and it spews out all the little toxins that you are storing in your body AS WELL as dropping some weight.
Other than that, I recommend the Weight Watchers program. It really teaches you a pretty healthy way to eat.

i used a program called isagenix.it is a cleansing and fat burning system that is totally nutrition based so you don't lose any of your nutrients.it actually takes the toxins out that are stored in your fat cells and replaces it with vitamins and minerals.the cleanse is 9 days and then i did a 30 day program and i am getting ready to cleanse again.i do it every 3-4 months to make sure my whole body is cleaned out of all the junk that is in it. it is not a high colonic cleanse or a just one organ cleanse.it is a WHOLE body cleanse.i lost 15 lbs and 28.5 inches off my body. in my 9 cleanse.it made me a total believer because i feel better now than i have felt in my life.i am healthy and i am way happier with my body image.of course there is exercise and eating right. but the cleanse helped me stop craving sugar and bad carbs..chips etc. i did not deny myself these things i just simply did not want them anymore. people will tell you it is not healthy to do this.they are wrong. my doctor couldn't believe my results.my bad cholesterol dropped 13 points(it was too high) and my good increased.also she did a complete blood panel on me and everything in my body was functioning better. like i said it made a believer out of me and i have many many more success stories like mine on my web page for isagenix.for more info go to my 360 page.

Eat less, and exercise. You're more likely to stick to your diet if you like what you're eating, so don't throw out all your snacks and such. Find ways to make your food satisfying and healthy. And you can reward your self every so often with a small treat, like a cookie or something.
Find an exercise you enjoy, like swimming, dancing, anything to get you moving...and stick to it. Also, take walks, to get the mail, to the grocery store, around the mall, etc.
Remember it all adds up. Good luck.

starvation is not the fastest way to lose weight because your body holds on to what it has. but if you wanted to lose weight fast you would eat smaller portions and exercise. and drink lots of water. water kick starts your metabolism and will make you lose weight faster.

Health Kinesiology. It's based on acupressure, very gentle, can alter your metabolism and makes it very easy to lose weight. Plus, you keep it off because it releases underlying reasons you gained it in the first place, including emotional stuff, trauma, whatever--though you don't have to relive it to let it go. How long it takes depends on what you have to lose and how long you've had it. Go to http://www.subtlenergy.com/training/locate_practitoner.htm to find a practitioner near you.

Actually, starving yourself can make you gain weight. .same with eating three meals a day.
You need to eat 5-6 SMALL meals a day and stay away from carbs like pasta. . stick with rice, potatoes, etc.
Also eat egg whites, chicken or fish with every meal!
