I thought it was obvious - LANDOVER is SATIRE
WESTBORO are way out there wacko's...
I thought the question might help shed some light on a subject for some people... its not scripture that is being attacked/ridiculed it is fanatics and bigots (Ive seen plenty on here)

Landover is satire, while Westboro is genuine (unfortunately) and immoral. Both have a legal right to exist. The Westboro folks have the freedom to believe what they like and express their opinions. As American citizens they're guaranteed those rights by the U.S. Constitution. Unfortunately, they don't stop there and have been found guilty of numerous crimes. They don't have the right to intimidate, harass, and assault those who disagree with them.

They both misunderstand God and the Bible. Westboro doesn't understand the difference between hating the sin and hating the sinner. We should hate sin, but we are commanded by Christ to love everyone, including homosexuals. I went to Landover's page, and it was just odd. They don't seem to understand God's purposes in sex and, frankly, as a Christian, I was a little confused as to how they came to think the way they do.
Oh, I didn't know for sure that Landover was satire, in that case, I'm sad they don't understand the meaning of Scripture, if they did they wouldn't be making fun of it.

I think they're both pretty offensive...at least Landover Baptist is fake.
Westboro Baptist, however...they should be ashamed of themselves. Do they not realize that the soldiers whose funerals they are protesting at were fighting for them? What an ungrateful bunch. Those gay soldiers will probably be more Christ-like than Westboro Baptist church will ever be. They died for a bunch of people who weren't worth dying for, just like Christ. Furthermore, no one is perfect except God! How can you single out one sin like that? Christians are to bring people the light of God, not the wrath. I went to their website, too, and read a few of the e-mails people have sent them and they have responded with some VERY vulgar and hateful statements. That makes me sick.
Sorry to show my ugly side, Westboro Baptist is one of my pet peeves.

I am a baptist myself and how dare they say these wrong and hatred things?! I am very offended by this and don't let yourself and family and friends get sucked up into this nonsense. God says love your neighbors and God is the only person who has the right to judge! Not us! Those people are not Christians, to me it looks more like a cult. Sorry that is just how I feel.
