Well when God start human life in motion there were probably on one. But after the fall of the tower ( a story which I have a hard time remembering) many languages began to develope. In this day and age. The world has many languages lost, dead, created, and revised. The number I do not know. But if i guess the number might be 10,000 or maybe 8,500. Maybe bigger lets say 100,000 for all group, races, made-up, lost languages. Even before our time. [just a little wisdom]
