Shouldn't a person be able to have some privacy, if they wanted a private conversation with mom?

I would not get mad if they were talking to anyone... as long as they kept the conversation short.
we all deserve privacy, so, if I have the right to pick up the phone and walk away to have a private conversation, well, so does he, right?
and even more if he is talking to his parents, I mean, there are family conversations that really, are none of my concern, and vice versa.

No reason to get mad. I always go outside to talk on the phone. It's a lot easier to talk when no one else is around less distraction.

no... of course that's not wrong!!! there is no reason to get mad.... if anything that's the right thing to do because its very impolite to talk on the phone when you're with company....

psh who cares? my ex used to always leave to talk on the phone with like EVERYONE but always came back shortly........usually his cousins >.< but as long as u r polite to both of them, its ok....who ever is on the phone and ur date.
