I know god is not an atheist. You are the best at missing the point.

How can something that does not exist (god), be an atheist? This god you speak of preaches love, yet you say that god sends atheists to hell, and atheists get tortured. Is this the proper way for a god that preaches love and tolerance to behave?

You make a lot of assumptions. However, comparing the Christian god to the Romans isn't too much of a stretch. The Roman Empire became The Holy Roman Empire and the Caesars became the Popes. Probably has nothing to do with god and everything to do with power and control of Europe.

It is different because the Romans were not their gods. People were torturing other people when Romans feed Christians to lions. Sending people to hell is a punishment from God to people.

A god that creates beings with free will, provides them with no credible proof of his existence, and then condemns them for not believing in him is no more moral than Romans condemning Christians for not supporting the state religion of ancient Rome.

There is no hell but that which we create for ourselves and each other. Better to concentrate on making the best use of the time we have in this world. Be a builder rather than a destroyer. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

well just because you belive in a christian god does not mean you are right. everyone who has a religion thinks it is the right one. humans made religion because there was not an explanation for everything, it gave them comfort, thats why the most basic original religions focused on nature, like the god of the sun and that kind of thing. they hoped that by "worshiping" a "god" they would have better luck and better weather, no famine that kind of thing. then eventually soem other guy decided that one god probably controlled everything, then the stories came, and then a crazy cult leader names Jesus came along and they believed he was the savior, if there is a god or religion, than the oldest books would be the most accurate, such as the old testament, and god is "fair and merciful" according to religion, so he would not send anyone to hell because they did not believe in him if he were to exist. atheists are people too, so you think if your an atheist and donate millions of dollars until you yourself are broke, jsut to help innocent children and people in need, "god" would send you to hell? come on

If God exists, He is certainly an agnostic.
There are tens of millions of people who believe in God but not heaven or hell. And additional tens of millions of people who do not believe in God at all.

The Romans showed the danger, which exists to this day of Church & State being the same entity.

Your question is all over the place. Take a breathe and try to get your thoughts together because the thoughts in your question don't make much sense.

Lions...antheists....God believing in himself....Romans....hell...eternal torture. Too much stuff going on for me.

are you an atheist? I guess you are, or maybe your a your a monkey, but now do you see how that is? I mean we believers can only have faith, but when you have faith God shows you so much more, no can explain God or why he dose the things he dose, we can only believe and trust him, but if you had just a little faith then you would completly understand, but you dont so there is no telling you, just like if you tried to explain air to a fish

Well . . . um . . . I guess you have a point. A Christian would argue that since their God is the real God, it's justified.

Addendum: Clearly your mind is already made up. You're just trying to antagonize Christians. Why even bother asking?

So if God is not an atheist, you're saying that He believes in a higher power than Himself and was created by that higher power. So tell me, who is God's God?
