Depends on the person but I doubt it. I tried a couple of long distance ones but no luck for either of us. I am still friends with them but just that.

yes.. i think so....
my boyfriend and i are long distance... 8 hours, over 550 miles away, and we've been going out for over a year and we're still going strong...
my best friend and her boyfriend are over 350 miles away and they've been going out for over 2.5 years and they're going to get married...
so yes, i definitely think its possible for a long distance relationship to work and last for a long time...
